Rich in history and tradition, the CANUSA Cup enjoys humble beginnings. The original trophy and the current trophy
are housed at the Estate of Lord Paul Armes in Durham, North Carolina. The current trophy is seen below. Players
have traveled from abroad to participate in the CANUSA Cup matches. From Newfoundland, to Michigan, to New Orleans to
Toronto, the CANUSA Cup is an event that players simply want on their schedules.

This is what we play for. The CANUSA Cup is as revered a trophy
as the Stanley cup, the Claret Jug, or even the Wannamaker Trophy.

Rules:
2-man scramble format.
Lowest total wins match.
Lowest team total wins Cup. | |
|
Each team must play with equal number of players.
Each 2-man team must drink a minimum of 18 beers (combined) during the round of golf.
Failure to do so results in per beer stroke penalties.
Pouring out beer (the "Fred Redden Rule"), is a 5-stroke penalty. | |
